1 Killed in Long Beach Crash on Northbound 710 Freeway
LONG BEACH, CA (June 4, 2021) – At least one was killed after a car crash on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach.
According to an article published by the ABC 7 News, the tragic accident took place early Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 3 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Long Beach. They crashed on the northbound side of the 710 Freeway near Del Amo Boulevard.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased victim remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP forced all northbound lanes of the 710 Freeway to shut down for three hours following the wreck.
Officers did not mention if any other party ended up injured after the collision. The cause of the fatal Long Beach crash is still under investigation.
