Motorcyclist Killed in Los Alamo Crash on Bell Street Near Cat Canyon Road
LOS ALAMOS, CA (May 31, 2021) – A crash killed a motorcyclist near Bell Street and Cat Canyon Road in Los Alamos.
According to the KSBY News and Noozhawk, the tragic accident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:50 p.m.
The incident happened when a sedan was going southbound on Bell Street after exiting Highway 101 in Los Alamos. Its driver then tried to turn around at a turnout on the road.
The California Highway Patrol said the male motorcycle rider approached and collided with the driver’s side of the car. The two crashed near Cat Canyon Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the site and then found the motorcyclist lying on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim, a man in his 30s, dead at the scene. His name remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other motorist involved ended up unharmed following the wreck. Officials forced Bell Street to shut down for about two hours following the crash.
The cause of the fatal Los Alamos collision is still under investigation.
