1 Seriously Injured in Highway 14 Crash Near Escondido Canyon Road
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (September 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 14 near Escondido Canyon Road.
According to an article published by The Signal, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:48 p.m.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on the northbound side of Highway 14 near the Escondido Canyon Road exit.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at the time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 14 to shut down for about an hour following the crash. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
