Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision Near Robertson Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA (February 26, 2023) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Venice Boulevard Sunday, February 26.
The KTLA5 News reported a vehicle traveling west on Venice struck an individual walking outside of a crosswalk. Officials said the horrible crash took place just east of Robertson Boulevard near the border of Culver City.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles
Shortly after 1:15 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the scene. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim found lying on the ground. According to the article published online, an ambulance rushed the injured pedestrian to a hospital where he later sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Officials said the driver involved in the catastrophic incident fled the scene. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles.
