Injury Car Accident on Santa Ana (101) Freeway Monday
Los Angeles, CA (June 22, 2021) – On June 21, Monday, a suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on U.S. Route 101 in Central Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided on the southbound lanes of US-101, also known as Santa Ana Freeway. Authorities described the cars found at the scene as a white Merced SUV and a red BMW.
Shortly after 2:50 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site. Paramedics immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the incident.

Meanwhile, the CHP confirmed one motorist fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators handling the case continue to investigation several factors surrounding the car crash on U.S. Route 101.
