1 Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash on 405 Freeway at Sunset Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 19, 2022) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on the 405 Freeway and Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Wednesday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 6:22 a.m.
The incident happened when a silver Honda CRV and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Los Angeles. The two crashed on the 405 Freeway at Sunset Boulevard.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Church Lane. They found an occupant of the Honda who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced a stretch of 405 Freeway to shut down at Sunset following the wreck.
The cause of the Los Angeles hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
