Child Injured in Traffic Accident on San Pedro Street Saturday
Los Angeles, CA (November 16, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on San Pedro Street in South Los Angeles.
Initial records indicated the traffic collision involved a juvenile. At this time, it remained unclear what the child was doing before the crash.
The CHP log mentioned a car struck the victim in the 13813 block of S San Pedro Street on November 13, Saturday.
Shortly after 11:20 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders immediately checked the condition of the juvenile. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the child sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and exact age of the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, officials later confirmed the driver involved in the collision fled the scene. Detectives continue to investigate at this time the identity and location of the suspect.
