Multi-Vehicle Collision Near E 3rd Street Sunday
Los Angeles, CA (December 17, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route 60 on December 12.
The California Highway Patrol group reported multiple vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of the highway at E 3rd Street. Per CHP dispatch, the wreck involved at many as seven automobiles. Officials described some cars found at the scene as a gray Toyota Camry; a blue Ford Explorer; and a black Nissan Sentra.

Shortly after 3:42 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained injuries as a result of the incident. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.
Preliminary investigation revealed at least one driver involved in the mishap fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car crash on State Route 60 in Los Angeles is underway.
