At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at El Segundo Boulevard and Hoover Street Tuesday
Los Angeles, CA (February 5, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of El Segundo Boulevard and Hoover Street.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual at the busy intersection in Los Angeles. The CHP logged the case on February 1, Tuesday.
Shortly after 11:47 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the person found lying on the ground. According to the CHP dispatch, the pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Authorities mentioned the vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene. Preliminary investigation revealed the hit-and-run suspect was driving a black Toyota Camry.
Detectives continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the pedestrian accident at El Segundo Boulevard and Hoover Street.
