Pedestrian Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at Figueroa and Imperial
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 29, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Figueroa Street and Imperial Highway in Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred late Monday night. Officers reported the incident at about 10:50 p.m.
According to their report, a vehicle struck the victim for an unknown reason. The driver hit the pedestrian at the intersection of South Figueroa Street and Imperial Highway in Los Angeles.
Victim Hit by Vehicle Near 110 Freeway
Los Angeles firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near the 110 Freeway. They found the person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient who suffered a possible head injury. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and soon fled the area. Officials forced the intersection to close following the hit-and-run crash.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
