4 Injured in Collision Near Highway 154 Thursday
Los Olivos, CA (January 4, 2022) – Several people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Highway 101 on December 30, Thursday.
According to the Lompoc Record, a vehicle with multiple occupants drifted off the roadway. Earlier reports indicated the car eventually slammed into a tree just north of the Highway 154 interchange. The collision took place in a portion of the freeway known as “the woodchopper”.
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 11:01 p.m. Responding paramedics found as many as four people with injuries.
The article published online mentioned two parties sustained serious injuries, and two others sustained minor wounds. Medical personnel transported all four patients to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate exactly how and why the car crash on Highway 101 in Los Olivos happened.
