Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Los Olivos Crash Near Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon
LOS OLIVOS, CA (April 16, 2023) – A crash critically injured a motorcyclist near Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon Road in Los Olivos.
According to the Noozhawk and KEYT News, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on April 16 at around 2:40 p.m.
The incident happened when a man in his 50s riding a motorcycle, a Ford Mustang and a Lexus sedan, collided for an unknown reason in Los Olivos.
Motorcycle and Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the three crashed in the area of Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found the rider who sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. A ground ambulance rushed him to the Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital for treatment.
The reports did not disclose the name of the wounded party and his condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Los Olivos crash is still under investigation.
The California Highway Patrol forced the corner of Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon Road to shut down following the wreck.
