Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash at Los Osos Valley Road and Bay Boulevard
LOS OSOS, CA (November 11, 2022) – A crash at Los Osos Valley Road and Bay Boulevard seriously injured a motorcyclist in Los Osos.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck on November 9 at about 10:38 a.m.
The incident happened when the motorcycle rider and a Ford F-150 collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Bay Boulevard.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters soon arrived at the scene and found the bike pinned underneath the car. The motorcyclist sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Paramedics then rushed the patient to the Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the pickup truck ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Los Osos Valley and Bay to shut down after the incident.
