At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Highway 33
Lost Hills, CA (May 7, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on State Route 46, also known as Paso Robles Highway.
Our sources indicated two trucks collided on SR-46 near Highway 33 Saturday afternoon. According to the CHP dispatch, the crash involved a U-Haul and a semi truck carrying natural gas. Due to the force from the impact, at least one truck leaked fuel onto the roadway.
Deadly Traffic Accident on State Route 46 in Lost Hills
Shortly after 2:14 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found at least one person unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly crash on State Route 46 in Lost Hills.
