1 Seriously Injured in Lucerne Valley Crash on Crystal Creek Road
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (September 11, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Crystal Creek Road in Lucerne Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 6 p.m.
CHP said a red Honda Civic and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Lucerne Valley. The two crashed on southbound Crystal Creek Road, just south of Crystal Lane.
2 Vehicles Collide
One of the cars involved then rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a male occupant bleeding from the arm.
An air ambulance took one patient to the Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Crystal Creek Road to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Lucerne Valley crash.
