3 Girls Killed, 1 Critically Injured in Lucerne Valley Hit-and-Run on Camp Rock Road
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (June 7, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash killed three girls and critically injured a fourth juvenile on Camp Rock Road in Lucerne Valley.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident occurred late Saturday night. Officers reported the collision at about 10:25 p.m.
The incident happened on June 5 when the four girls were walking on Camp Rock Road in Lucerne Valley. At the same time, a white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado was going north.
For an unknown reason, the car then struck the juveniles north of Rabbit Springs Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found three of the victims left lying on separate sides of the road.

All three juveniles, aged 11, 13 and 12, died at the scene. An air ambulance took the fourth girl, 14, to the Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
The only survivor and the 12-year-old were in their wheelchairs while the other two girls were pushing them when the crash took place.
Family members set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the funeral expenses of the 12-year-old victim. Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the pickup abandoned their truck and fled on foot.
Officials forced Camp Rock Road to shut down for a time following the collision. Authorities are still searching for the two suspects.
The fatal Lucerne Valley hit-and-run crash is still under investigation. Anyone with any information can call the Victorville CHP at 760-241-1186.
