1 Seriously Injured in Lucerne Valley Crash on Rabbit Springs Road
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (March 12, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Rabbit Springs Road in Lucerne Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:30 p.m.
CHP said two cars collided head-on for an unknown reason in Lucerne Valley. They crashed at 36262 Rabbit Springs Road between Fairlane Road and Cherokee Trail.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the vehicles as a black Jeep and a black Volkswagen. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found both cars off the road.
They confirmed that one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Rabbit Springs Road to shut down for an hour and a half following the wreck.
The cause of the Lucerne Valley crash is still under investigation.
