Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman Near Hacienda Drive
Vista, CA (January 1, 2022) – Lucille Martinez died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Pomelo Drive in early December.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported a vehicle struck a female party near Hacienda Drive on December 9. Officials described the car involved in the horrible crash as a Hyundai Elantra.

Our sources indicated the collision took place at about 9:30 p.m. Shortly after, medical personnel arrived at the location. First responders rendered aid to the pedestrian, then transported them to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. According to the article published online, the woman later sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. Authorities identified the deceased as 44-year-old Lucille Martinez.
Meanwhile, officers mentioned the driver of the Elantra stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident in Vista.
