Luis Corona, 39, in Santa Fe Springs Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (May 13, 2022) – Luis Corona was killed after a motorcycle crash on the 5 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs.
The coroner’s office identified the 39-year-old man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened when Luis Corona was riding a motorcycle on the 5 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs. For an unknown reason, he collided with a sedan.
Motorcyclist and Car Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the two crashed on the northbound side of the freeway. The CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, wrote that the accident occurred on May 10 at about 4:05 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived near the 605 Freeway and the city’s border with Downey. Luis Corona ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car sustained any wound or if they stopped following the wreck.
The cause of the Santa Fe Springs crash is still under investigation.
