1 Injured in Madera County Crash on Highway 41 Yosemite Springs
MADERA COUNTY, CA (January 27, 2023) – One was hospitalized after a crash on Highway 41 near Yosemite Springs Parkway in Madera County.
According to an article published by the Sierra News Online, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the collision as a head-on at about 11:15 a.m.
The incident happened on January 26 when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason near Yosemite Lakes in Madera County. The California Highway Patrol said the cars crashed on Highway 41 near Yosemite Springs Parkway.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found at least one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance then flew the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Highway 41 to shut down near Yosemite Springs following the wreck. The cause of the Madera County crash is still under investigation.
