Officer Badly Hurt in Collision Near Road 415
Madera County, CA (July 2, 2022) – An on-duty California Highway Patrol officer suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 41 Saturday evening.
The Fresno Bee News reported the CHP officer was driving a marked SUV heading south on SR-41. When the patrol vehicle approached the area near Road 415, it crashed into a Ford F150 pickup backing out of a driveway. According to the article published online, both drivers did not notice each other.
The collision took place at about 6:30 p.m.
Major Injury Car Accident on Highway 41 in Madera County
Per local news source, paramedics transported the CHP officer to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford reportedly complaint of pain; but it remained unclear if medical personnel also transported the driver of the Ford to a medical facility.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 41 in Madera County.
