Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Avenue 17 1/2 and Lane Drive Friday
Madera, CA (November 9, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Avenue 17 1/2 and Lane Drive.
Initial records indicated a vehicle struck an individual walking in the streets of Madera. The CHP logged the collision on November 5, Friday.
Shortly after 10:12 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. Responding medical personnel immediately checked the condition of the pedestrian hit by the car. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the victim sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the injured party, and the extent of their injuries remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver involved in the collision fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
