Pedestrian Killed in Malibu Crash at Pacific Coast Highway and Cross Creek Road
MALIBU, CA (September 6, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a crash at Pacific Coast Highway and Cross Creek Road in Malibu.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Monday night. Officers reported the incident at about 8:38 p.m.
The Sheriff’s Station said a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in Malibu. The driver hit him at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Cross Creek Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the man lying on the ground as a result of the collision. He sustained major injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His name remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. The cause of the fatal Malibu pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
Officers forced the westbound lanes of Pacific Coast and Cross Creek to shut down for hours following the crash.
