3 Killed, 1 Injured in Chula Vista Crash on East H Street
Chula Vista, Calif. (February 14, 2022) – Marcellous Cisneros, 27, Rashad Wallace, 27, and Ronnie Jacobs, 26, all died Saturday afternoon in a solo-vehicle crash on East H Street in Chula Vista.
The deadly traffic accident happened at 3:56 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12th in the 500 block of East H Street, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.
Marcellous Cisneros was driving a white Nissan Sentra westbound on East H Street with three passengers. The car reportedly veered off the roadway and crashed head-on into a tree in the center median. The car suffered major front-end damage in the collision.
Paramedics responded and performed life-saving measures to the driver identified as Marcellous Cisneros died at the scene.
Meanwhile, three passengers were reportedly rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment. Rashad Wallace and Ronnie Jacobs later died at 4:33 p.m. and 4:59 p.m. respectively at the hospital. Finally, the third passenger reportedly remains in critical condition.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the horrible crash on East H Street in Chula Vista.
Finally, two dogs that were inside the car also died in the crash, according to police.
