Man, 60, Fatal Victim in Fiery Collision Near Sanguinetti Road
Modesto, CA (November 6, 2021) – Marcial Sanchez, a 60-year-old man, died following a car crash that occurred on Highway 108 on October 16.
The Union Democrat reported Marcial Sanchez was driving a 2015 Toyota Tacoma pickup traveling east on the highway in Modesto. When the Toyota approached the area near Sanguinetti Road, the 60-year-old man from Modesto attempted to pass a 2007 Chevy Avalanche. Preliminary investigation revealed the Toyota accidentally hit the right side of the Chevy. Due to the force from the impact, the Chevy collided into an oncoming 2007 Dodge pickup.
Our sources indicated several other vehicles got involved in the crash.
Marcial Sanchez Dies in Modesto Car Crash on Highway 108
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found Marcial Sanchez trapped in the wreckage. Authorities mentioned the man was unable to get out when the car caught fire. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the driver of the 2015 Toyota Tacoma dead.
Further investigation on the fatal car crash on Highway 108 in Modesto is ongoing.
