Man Pinned Between Truck and Car on Lennon Way
San Jose, CA (May 21, 2022) – Mariano Perez Antonio, a 21-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Lennon Way.
On May 5, a man was pinned in between a 2012 Isuzu work truck and a parked 2014 BMW car. The Mercury News reported a truck was backing up to unload supplies at a work site in the 1200 block of Lennon Way. While in the process, the truck crashed into a parked BMW and hit a man. Officials said the truck continued backing into the driveway; and ended up pinning the male party between the back of the truck and the parked car.
Mariano Antonio Dies at Hospital After Pedestrian Accident in San Jose
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 7:58 a.m. Responding paramedics rushed the patient to a hospital, where he later sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Mariano Perez Antonio, of San Jose.
Meanwhile, the article published online mentioned the truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident on Lennon Way in San Jose.
