Rider Badly Hurt in Road Accident on Highway 49
Nevada County, CA (December 3, 2022) – Mark Lorenz, a 56-year-old man, suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision that occurred on Highway 49.
The KNCO News reported Lorenz, of Vacaville, was riding a motorcycle traveling in the streets of Nevada County on November 26. When the man approached the area near Little Deer Road, just off Alta Sierra Drive, he crashed into another vehicle. The precise circumstances that led up to the accident remained under investigation.
Major Injury Motorcycle Crash in Nevada County
Shortly after the crash, medical personnel arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the motorcyclist, and the other driver involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, rescue teams confirmed the rider, Mark Lorenz, sustained major injuries as a result of the incident. The condition of the victim at this time have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the traffic accident that happened on Highway 49 in Nevada County.
