Mark Maglione, 63, Killed in Palm Springs Pedestrian Crash at Ramon and Crossley

PALM SPRINGS, CA (May 5, 2023) – Mark Maglione was killed after a pedestrian crash at Ramon Road and Crossley Road in Palm Springs.

The coroner’s office identified the 63-year-old Palm Springs man as the victim in the fatal accident which took place on Thursday.

The incident happened when a vehicle struck Mark Maglione for an unknown reason in Palm Springs. The driver, traveling eastbound on Ramon Road, hit him at the intersection with Crossley Road.

The Desert Sun and NBC Palm Springs wrote that the collision occurred on May 4 at around 9:45 p.m. Paramedics arrived and found the victim lying unresponsive on the ground.

Mark Maglione died at the scene of the pedestrian accident. Meanwhile, deputies added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.

Officers forced the area of Ramon and Crossley roads to shut down for several hours after the collision. The cause of the Palm Springs pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
