6 Injured in Marysville rash at Highway 20 and Hallwood Boulevard

YUBA COUNTY, CA (October 12, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash at Highway 20 and Hallwood Boulevard near Marysville.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 2:30 p.m.

CHP said a 1994 white Ford F-250 pickup truck and two other vehicles collided for an unknown reason. The three crashed on Highway 20 at the intersection with West Hallwood Boulevard near Marysville.

Multiple Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Country Market. They found a total of six people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Three patients sustained moderate to major injuries upon impact. Medical personnel then took some of the wounded parties to a hospital for treatment.

Officials did not disclose the names of the victims and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 20 and Hallwood Boulevard to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Marysville crash is still under investigation.
