1 Injured in Mead Valley Crash on Rider Street Near Brown Street
MEAD VALLEY, CA (September 9, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Rider Street near Brown Street in Mead Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck occurred on Thursday morning. Officers reported the accident at about 8:24 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Mead Valley. They crashed at 20970 Rider Street near Brown Street.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a tan SUV and a white colored sedan.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Mead Valley Community Center. They found one victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Riverside University Health System Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded person and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Rider Street to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Mead Valley crash.
