At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision at Coachella Canal Road and Mecca Copia Trail Saturday
Mecca, CA (May 23, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following an ATV accident in the area of Coachella Canal Road and Mecca Copia Trail, the KESQ News reported.
On May 22, Saturday, an off-road all-terrain vehicle crash for an unknown reason near the Mecca intersection.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., a helicopter and rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. The news article published online mentioned the location was difficult to access.

Paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. After providing first aid treatment, medical personnel transported one patient to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. At the moment, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the ATV accident in Mecca.
