Rider Badly Hurt in Collision Near Pelandale Avenue
Salida, CA (August 31, 2022) – Michael Lowery, a 23-year-old man, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Salida Boulevard Tuesday evening.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on Salida Boulevard
According to Modesto Bee, Lowery was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling at an unknown direction on Salida Boulevard. Earlier reports indicated the motorcyclist crashed into the back of Ford F-150.
The article published online mentioned the collision took place when the driver of the Ford slowed down to make a U-turn at an opening in the concrete median. The crash took place at approximately 7:45 p.m., north of Pelandale Avenue.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the rider suffering in injuries. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim, and rushed him to a Modesto hospital for treatment of major trauma. Authorities later identified the patient as Michael Lowery, of Modesto.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic accident that happened on Salida Boulevard.
