Fatal Traffic Collision Near Antelope Valley (14) Freeway
Santa Clarita, CA (May 21, 2022) – Miguel Rivara, a 22-year-old Granada Hills resident, died following a crash that occurred on Interstate 5, also known as Golden State Freeway.
My News LA published an article online reporting a traffic accident between a motorcycle rider and a big rig. Our sources indicated the catastrophic collision took place on the southbound side of I-5 near the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident on Golden State Freeway in Santa Clarita
Shortly after 5:13 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the motorcyclist with serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts performed by paramedics, the man sadly passed away .The coroner’s office identified the deceased as Miguel Rivara, of Granada Hills.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the big rig driver involved in the crash.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident on Golden State Freeway.
