1 Killed, 1 Injured in Traffic Collision on Camino Del Rio North Tuesday
Mission Valley, CA (July 20, 2021) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on Camino Del Rio North Tuesday afternoon.
According to San Diego Union-Tribune, a 1989 Chrysler was traveling west on Camino Del Rio North at about 4 p.m. In the area just east of Interstate 805, the Chrysler made an unsafe movement and drifted into the eastbound lanes.
Officials the Chrysler collided into an eastbound 1994 Oldsmobile.

Shortly after the incident, emergency teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders found the driver of the Chrysler trapped in the wreckage. The article published online later confirmed 93-year-old driver died in the collision. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities added the other driver, sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Paramedics rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Further investigation on the deadly car crash in Mission Valley is underway.
