Passenger Hospitalized After Rollover Collision Near Mission Center Road Sunday
Mission Valley, CA (November 7, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 8 early Sunday.
The FOX5 News published an article online reporting a vehicle that rolled over on the freeway near Mission Center Road. According to the local news source, the driver lost control and overturned off the side of Interstate 8.
Shortly after 1 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one passenger trapped in the wreckage.
Our sources indicated firefighters used tools to pry open the door of the disabled car. Emergency crews successfully extricated the female victim, then placed her in an ambulance. The woman was transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

Officials later confirmed the driver involved in the crash fled the scene. At this time, detectives continue to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
