2 Children Injured in Collision at Service and Morgan Road
Ceres, CA (May 3, 2022) – Police arrested 36-year-old Misty Brinton following a car accident that occurred in the area of Service and Morgan Road.
The Ceres Courier published an article online reporting a two-vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection in Ceres on April 27. Our sources indicated the two cars crashed at Service and Morgan at about 8:33 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found two juveniles with injuries. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victims. Officials mentioned the children, aged 6 and 10, were passengers in a vehicle driven by Brinton.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Major Car Crash in Ceres
During the investigation process, Brinton, of Ceres, showed signs of intoxication. Police then performed a field sobriety test on the woman. After the results, police arrested and booked Misty Brinton for felony DUI and child endangerment.
No immediate information was available on the relationship of the suspect to the injured children.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
