1 Injured in Modesto Crash at Spyres Way and Bangs Avenue
MODESTO, CA (June 4, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Spyres Way and Bangs Avenue in Modesto.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the incident on Friday afternoon. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at around 2:36 p.m.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Modesto. The report log said the drivers crashed at the intersection of Spyres Way and Bangs Avenue.
Car Collision Near Highway 108
CHP described the cars involved as an older white Chevrolet pickup truck and a black Toyota Supra. The Chevrolet obtained front-end damage while the Toyota sustained right front damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 108. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Memorial Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Spyres and Bangs to close following the crash. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Modesto accident.
