3 Injured in Modesto Crash on Highway 99 at Tuolumne Boulevard
MODESTO, CA (December 30, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 99 and Tuolumne Boulevard in Modesto.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:18 a.m.
CHP said three vehicles, including a box truck, collided for an unknown reason in Modesto. They crashed on southbound Highway 99 at Tuolumne Boulevard.
The incident log described the two other cars as a gray 2020 Toyota Camry, a silver 2008 Infiniti Q57 SUV. The box truck rolled onto its side upon impact.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of three people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patients to the hospital for treatment. At least one of them sustained major injuries following the wreck.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Modesto crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the southbound Highway 99 at Tuolumne to shut down for two hours after the collision.
