Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man on Interstate 15
North County, CA (December 24, 2022) – Mohammad Taghi Nyakoui, an 80-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident Near Carmel Mountain Road in North County
The FOX5 News reported a Ford SUV struck a person walking along the southbound lanes of the freeway on December 11, Sunday. Our sources indicated the horrible crash took place just north of Carmel Mountain Road in North County.
Shortly after 3:23 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the victim lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away due to blunt force injuries. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased as Mohammad Taghi Nyakoui, of San Diego.
Investigators stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident that happened on Interstate 15 in North County.
