1 Seriously Injured in Crash at Backus and Mojave Tropico Roads
MOJAVE, CA (March 18, 2022) – A crash seriously injured at least one person at Backus Road and Mojave Tropico Road in Mojave.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:48 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Mojave, They crashed at the intersection of Backus and Mojave Tropico roads.
Tesla and Car Collide
The incident log described the cars as a red Tesla and a white 4-door sedan. The Tesla obtained front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 14. They found the one individual who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Backus and Mojave Tropico roads to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
