Motorcyclist Killed in Montclair Crash Near Central Avenue and Howard Street
MONTCLAIR, CA (May 1, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcyclist near Central Avenue and Howard Street in Montclair.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the tragic accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:04 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and a car collided in Montclair for an unknown reason. The two crashed near the intersection of Central Avenue and Howard Street.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene near the city of Ontario border. They found the motorcyclist down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the patient dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Montclair crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the northbound lanes of Central Avenue to shut down near Howard Street and Phillips Boulevard after the incident.
