Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 Wednesday
Monterey, CA (April 21, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a bus occurred Wednesday morning on Highway 101, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a road collision occurred in the northbound side of Highway 101. Shortly after 6:20 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found a bus, a red car, and a motorcycle rider.
Per CHP log, the three motorists collided for an unknown reason on U.S. Route 101 near Monterey Regional Airport.

Responding firefighters reportedly had to extricate several occupants from the bus. Shortly after the incident, officials confirmed the crash resulted in major injuries. However, at the moment, the names of the injured parties and their age remained undisclosed.
