1 Killed, 5 Injured in Moreno Valley Crash at John F Kennedy Drive and Lasselle Street
MORENO VALLEY, CA (June 14, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured several others at John F Kennedy Drive and Lasselle Street in Moreno Valley.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a call about the tragic accident on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:52 p.m.
According to Cal Fire, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Moreno Valley. They crashed at the intersection of John F Kennedy Drive and Lasselle Street.
2 Vehicles Collide in Moreno Valley
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced one individual dead at the scene. They also found a total of five people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed all five patients to a hospital where they listed two of them in critical condition. Two other parties sustained moderate injuries and the fifth suffered minor wounds.
The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officials shut down the area of John F Kennedy and Lasselle for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Moreno Valley crash is still under investigation.
