Vehicle Strikes Man Near Box Springs Road
Moreno Valley, CA (April 15, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Day Street Friday evening, April 14.
My News LA published an article online reporting a fatal crash involving a white Volkswagen Passat. Per local news source, the vehicle struck an individual running in an easterly direction across Day Street. The driver of the Volkswagen attempted but failed to avoid hitting the pedestrian.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident in Moreno Valley
Shortly after 11:22 p.m., emergency crews responded to the site, just south of Box Springs Road. Medical personnel found the victim suffering in major injuries. Paramedics rendered first aid to the injured pedestrian then transported them to a hospital for further treatment. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the patient remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene for several hours. They continue investigate liability in the pedestrian accident that happened on Day Street in Moreno Valley.
