1 Seriously Injured in Morgan Hill Crash on Highway 101 Near Dunne Avenue
MORGAN HILL, CA (September 5, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 101 near Dunne Avenue in Morgan Hill.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:34 a.m.
According to CHP, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Morgan Hill. They crashed on northbound Highway 101 near East Dunne Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log added that a black Nissan Rogue obtained minor rear-end damage. A red colored sedan involved rolled onto its roof upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of the highway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Morgan Hill crash is still under investigation.
