Motorcycle Police Officer Injured in Lynwood Crash on 105 Freeway
LYNWOOD, CA (October 11, 2022) – A motorcycle officer was hospitalized after a crash on the 105 Freeway in Lynwood.
According too an article published by the KTLA News, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 6 a.m.
The incident happened on October 10 when an Inglewood Police Department motorcycle officer and a red sedan collided in Lynwood.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The two crashed on the westbound 105 Freeway near Long Beach Boulevard. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcycle damaged.
The officer complained of pain as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the car obtained damage on its passenger side and a cracked windshield following the incident.
Police forced the westbound lanes of the 105 Freeway to shut down after the wreck. The cause of the Lynwood crash is still under investigation.
