1 Hospitalized After Collision Near 8 Freeway
San Diego, CA (March 26, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway, the 911 Video News reported.
Officials said two vehicles crashed into each other in the southbound side of I-5 near the Interstate 8 Freeway. The article published online mentioned a third driver approached the wreckage, and failed to slow down. The third car slammed into either one or both disabled vehicles.
The collision took place on March 26, Sunday, around 2:25 a.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they checked the conditions of all people involved in the wreck. Our sources confirmed a male party sustained injuries as a result of the crash. An ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the patient remained undisclosed.
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the traffic accident that happened on Interstate 5 in San Diego.
