3-Vehicle Crash on I-880 Freeway in Hayward
HAYWARD, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Hayward crash on the northbound Interstate 880 Freeway resulted in minor injuries Tuesday morning, the CHP reports.
Also, the collision happened in the No. 2 lane about 6:46 a.m. on Jan. 11th, just south of the Winton Avenue off ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white BMW sedan, a silver Honda Accord and a black Mazda 3 collided due to unknown circumstances.
Additionally, paramedics responded due to minor injuries, but it’s unknown if they transported anyone to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the three vehicles from the scene. The Honda suffered moderate front-end damage in the Hayward collision, the report said.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine liability for the Hayward crash on the Interstate 880 Freeway, the CHP dispatch said.
