2 Injured in Napa County Crash at First Avenue and Hagen Road
NAPA COUNTY, CA (April 22, 2022) – A crash left two people injured at First Avenue and Hagen Road in Napa County.
According to an article published by the Napa Valley Register, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2 p.m.
The incident happened on April 21 when a Toyota Corolla was going north of First Avenue, approaching Hagan Road, in Napa County. At the same time, a Mercedes-Benz C250 was headed east on Hagen.
2 Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the Toyota then made a left turn onto Hagan. In the process, the car collided with the Mercedes in the intersection.
A total of two patients ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Paramedics took the driver of the Mercedes, a Napa resident, to the Queen of the Valley for treatment of major injuries.
Medical personnel treated the motorist in the Corolla for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of First Avenue and Hagen Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Napa County crash is still under investigation.
