Motorcyclist Injured in Napa Hit-and-Run on Highway 29 Near Airport Boulevard

NAPA, CA (October 2, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 29 near Airport Boulevard in Napa.

The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:49 a.m.

The incident happened on October 1 when a vehicle struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason in the city of Napa. The two crashed on northbound Highway 29, just south of Airport Boulevard.

Motorcycle Rider Hit by Vehicle

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Eagle Vines Golf Club. They found the motorcyclist left wounded as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not release the name of the victim and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to help the rider and fled the area. Officers forced the northbound side of Highway 29 to shut down near Airport following the wreck.

The cause of the Napa hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
